Episode 154~great job!

Nice job on the podcast~listened to it yesterday.

The recommendation of a pistol-caliber carbine over the shotgun was excellent~surprised the JRC wasn't recommended since Average Joe did a review earlier about it. I shoot an 1894 .44 and sometimes a little more force is required to work the action...I liked the AR recommendation in 9mm..probably the best choice (though I'll hang on to my Marlin ).

The information about flying with guns was tremendous as was the rifle shooting tips.

Which brings the question, ?where do you find the podcasts. I don't see a link on this site, but my eyes aren't what they once were.

I get the podcasts from the iTunes store. It's very easy that way, since I get a notice on my phone a new one is available.

I agree with Jim, excellent show. Also agree about the pistol caliber carbines. My shotguns are now gathering dust while I play with my 357 mag leeeeever action rifles.

I recently saw a great gel test with Underwood 357 mag XTP bullets fired into gel with denim barrier, from both a revolver and a Marlin 1894c.

The rifle shot starts at 1:16. I love how the big block of gel jumps up in the air and tumbles off the table.

If that doesn't convince you of the effectiveness of a particular load, nothing will.

I'd love to play with ballistic gel if it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Like TJ I get podcasts from iTunes....are you saying you don't listen to the show?

Well, seeing as how I don't know how to find the podcast, it would follow that I don't listen to the show. Back in the old forum days you could find the show right on the site. Guess I have to go figure out how to use iTunes - not my favorite program. But I'm mostly an old troglodyte.
