Good evening. Yet another fugitive from GRRN.

Those of you who don't know me, I am shy, retiring, and only a little knowledgeable about guns, of which I have a couple.

Thanks for the kind words. TJ actually sent me an e-mail about this forum, then threatened to sign in as Devereaux and write things that might embarrass me. I did have to tell him it would be hard to embarrass me, but he MIGHT piss me off ...

Still working on learning how to move about here. I had intended to quote this on the previous post, but somehow got the wrong quote in. Guess I'm going to have to watch where I click quote from.

Dev.. yes takes some getting used too... I am all over the place in the admin panel looking for what used to stand out obviously.. BUT we will figure it out.

Yeah, I signed up for pistol-forum but haven't been there. That takes ENERGY and I am in the ENTROPY stage it seems.

CF will be around in a few days... he is off taking some firearm training with his wife. Good on him....

Glad to have you here Sir. I am a stubborn wheelie gun guy with a heavy Brazilian accent. And I  happen to love everything related to gun culture.

Hello everyone.
Yet another GRRN alumnus as Hobartfloyt. I am from Pensacola FL, have one or two WW2 rifles, and shoot the occasional IDPA match with my Ruger GP-100.

I'm late thanking every one for my welcome.  And Welcome, Comrade! Be sure to talk about your WWII warriors in the Surplus and Cruffler section. Might they be Mosins, hmm?     Man, that's a pervasive disease.   

I am starting to think I need to catch this Mosin Disease, everyone seems to love being afflicted with it.....

If you have the slightest inclination toward military history, military arms, or mil-surps I'd think at least one Mosin and some ammo is a necessity. The WWII firearms have sadly almost dried up. I'm kicking myself for what I deliberately passed by.

I Love mine. I have a 1935 1891/30 Hex in excellent condition. Looking forward to purchase a 1938 or a 1944.
