Colt needs to resume manufacturing the Detective Special. It needs to be proofed for +P+ .38 Special loads too.

It would also be good if they resumed manufacture of other .38 caliber snubbies like the Agent, Cobra, and the Commando. It would also be good if there was a hammerless .38 snubbie revolver too.

It would also be good if Colt were to resume manufacture of the Anaconda in .44 Magnum. I would also like to see the New Service brought back too. It would be great if Colt were to manufacture a New Service snubbie revolver chambered in .44 Special and .45 Colt for CCW.

    Don't I know it.

Just about the time I got to a point in life where I could afford a Python, they stopped making them.

Hmmm. I am hardly any expert on snubbies, but my limited experience says that they are generally hard to shoot well. So higher loads appear to be kind of a waste, while the extra boom and recoil still exist. ?What do you have against the .38 Spl in a snubbie. ?Are +P+ loads really all that big a deal, especially since there are no established criteria for what you get in +P+.

And for the record, while I like things like Pythons, I am far more a S&W guy. Colt DA's have always been a bit weird to me.
