SBR!!!  I finally got my tax stamp for the SBR'd AR lower!  Now I can run my pistol uppers on a rifle lower with a real stock.  This was my first SBR I've done, so I am quite excited.  Doing it on an AR lower gives you some real versatility too. The 300 blk upper has a 9" barrel and the .458 socom upper has a 10.5" barrel. In the picture they kind of look longer than they are--they also have the brake or suppressor quick attach device on the end.

I wish we could own Full Autos that were made AFTER 1986 which didn't cost a fortune to buy.  Although I probably wouldn't choose to shoot full auto most of the time, it would be nice to have the option.  Full auto really hurts the wallet.  One of my relatives has a full auto MAC11 in 9mm.  You can empty a full 30+ round mag in a second or two. It's definitely fun, but goes through the ammo so fast.

Actually, 3-round burst make the most sense tactically. That is the selector that we ought to have.

?So how come all us ex-service types can't have what we want.

Gummint just is unreasonable. You know when you bring it up on a personal level, all the Lefties say, "Well, YOU are OK, but it's 'those others'." So if I'M OK, then give me one! Matter of fact, I'll take 4.
