I haven't tried that stuff yet. They have some at my local shop, but I haven't bought any yet. I already have a bunch of the CCI quiet ammo for the bolt guns and some American Eagle suppressor ammo for the semis that I got a while back and just haven't used much of it up yet. Think 22 ammo will disappear again post elections?

No. I suspect even if Hill wins there won't be the run on ammo there was with Obamination.

Here in the Gonne Shoppe, we're already seeing a run on guns. mags and ammo, Dev.  Many people are worried about a Hildabeast election, and a flurry of 'Boma Pen and Phone attacks.

I don't remember the last time I bought ammo from a gun shop, but it's been years. I generally buy bulk over the internet.

For me, the benchmarks are 9mm and .223/5.56. SO FAR those have stayed quite reasonable. When they get stupid, the run is on.

If gun prices go up, it will be those who missed out on their last chance to buy an overpriced AR or plastic-fantastic handgun. They then decided not to buy a weapon when prices fell, well, because. I mean they're no longer scarce so one can ALWAYS get one. Now if they get scarce, these will be the mopes who buy. Most of us rational guys already have most of what we might want and now guns are strictly something neat that comes along.

I found some S&B primers cheap locally. A basement FFL guy is selling S&B large pistol for $20 per 1k after tax and stuff. I think I will pick up as much as I can afford--that is cheeeeeeeeeep. Dang it! Too many good gun deals lately.
