I've seen those magpul made glock magazines and was wondering if any of you have tried them out. I look at them and without having the metal inserts like Glock makes them, I wonder if they work ok and will last. I also know magpul makes top notch stuff that they stand behind. Anybody try them out yet? I've thought about maybe getting a few and giving them a good hard run.

Yup.
Got about 200 rounds through 2 Magpul G17 mags. No failures. They drop free easily and feel good. And they're about 1/3 the price of Glock mags. I'd say they're better and cheaper.
I plan to buy more, especially the 25 round mags that are scheduled to come out this summer. Because mo is mo bettah.
Now if Magpul would quit teasing us and produce the 33 round happy sticks and the .40 caliber mags.

I just might need to snag one and test it out. Sounds like they are a good deal.

You guys read my mind. I'm planning on stocking up a bit as the new election is coming, and wondered how these are. Thanks.

I ended up buying a couple of these for my g19. So far about 100 rounds through them with no issues so far.

Magpul has a double reputation; reliable - until they die. Which they do suddenly. In the sandbox the magpul mags would disintegrate without warning. One reason I have Gi alum mags for my AR.

Update: 400 rounds through the magpul mag (with my g19 & 9mm ar15). No problems yet. 100% reliable.
I will keep using it for my plinking shooting and reserve my factory glock mags for carry.
