Just bought some of the mags. I looked at the shorty and while the price is great, I didn't like the rest of the stuff. I would have ended up changing a bunch of stuff.

The maker of the mags is the one that makes most of the good mags for sale. They also make the military mags. The MagPul follower is the good one - anti-tilt. I also like that the insides are tefloned. Get some, guys.

Arrrrggggghhhhh. I can't buy the mags with a billing address in California - even though they'd be shipped to MO and would never be in Cali.

Nope Dev. There's some indication that my beloved state believes it can prohibit me from owning some objects outside the state. I'll forgo the pleasure until I can get a firm reading of the law.

You know, the whole concept is weird. Suppose you wished to buy these as a gift for someone in another state. ?You are prohibited from buying a gift.

D&H Magazine/ Palmetto Warning:

I recently order some D&H 6.8 mags from Palmetto State Armory. I got them on special - yeah, they're "Special" all right: they're crap. All four were too large to easily fit into my Stag Arms lower, which has never had a problem with any other brand of magazine. I fully inserted one mag, and had to fight like hell to get it back out. They're going back to Palmetto. (Side Note: Palmetto isn't making it easy to return things. No specific instructions for returns can be found on there website [Edit: Found them under Terms and Conditions] - and the Customer Service voicemail system asks for an unsupplied extension number - then hangs up. We'll see if they answer an e-mail.)  

I've got some D&H 5.56 mags from Palmetto - I'm now going to be taking a long, hard look at them to ensure they function. I'm urging everyone to take the same precautions.

I have a bunch of 5.56 mags that work perfectly. From Palmetto Armory. Guess one has to check everything.
