Hey Doc, just finished listening to this week's show. As always, a great show.
You mentioned that you might do a show on the 10mm sometime. I think that is a great idea. I recently listened again to, I believe it was, the "Less Than Or Equal to 10" show, and noticed you talked a bit there about the 10mm also.
I'd just like to second the idea of a 10mm show. I think it's a great caliber, very underserved by ammo makers (other than Double Tap, Buffalo Bore and Underwood), and has a great story behind its creation, even though the whole FBI-agent-as-wuss part is still a bit depressing.
If you think that 10mm by itself wouldn't be enough meat for a show, you could always add the 41 magnum to the topic, since the calibers have a similar start (being touted hypothetically by then-prominent gun writers), similar short-lived adoption by law enforcement, similar ballistics, and similar cult followings today. I don't know a whole lot about the 41, but would really like to hear more about it.
Not to mention, Buford Pusser carried a 41 magnum and Sonny Crockett carried a 10mm. That, by itself, is pretty darn cool .
