Local shop got a few of these in... They actually feel a lot better than I thought they would. I thought it would feel cheap or plastic(y), but it doesn't. I put one on layaway--I will try to remember to post how I like it or dislike it when I end up picking it up.

Well, I ended up buying it and I like it. I did a little zombie head rimfire challenge and hit a milk jug sized zombie head target out at 500 yards on my 9th try. Harder than you'd think, actually... Used an adjustable scope base made for extreme long range shooting and zeroed at 100 yards and then dialed up 90 moa if I remember correctly. Challenge rules say you gotta do it within 10 shots so I barely did it, although I hit the backer plate multiple times. Anyways, I like mine, but my friend said his little Savage is more accurate than his Ruger. Might need to retorque his action screws and see if that helps.

Too cool.
500 yards with a rimfire? Ye gawds, that's more like mortaring.
Unfortunately, I've already spent the year's fun budget in one swell foop.
